Bhote Koshi Power Company Private Limited (BKPC) is an independent Power Producer that operates the 36 MW Upper Hydroelectric Project (UBKHEP) which is run of the river project situated in Sindhupalchowk District of Nepal. The main promoter of BKPC is Himal International Energy Private Limited and BKPC is managed by Tara Management Private Limited.

The UBKHEP Operation and Maintenance team is a close knit group of young and dynamic individuals who have pioneered a new standard in Hydropower plant O&M in Nepal. This team stands alone and proud with the fact that this is the pioneer hydropower plant in Nepal with such efficient O&M team.

The company aims at contributing to Human Resources development in the country and wishes to continue Apprenticeships program. The company invites applications from interested individuals for the position of two Apprentice Engineers for a period of six months, to work at the Plant and grow with this outstanding team. They would be released from the plant upon completion of the Apprenticeship tenure.

Requirements

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Civil discipline.
2. Should be able to routinely monitor all plant equipment including the headworks.
3. Will be expected to carry out maintenance work orders, both preventive and corrective maintenance.
4. Should be able to cope with adjustments in work schedule as required.
