With reference to our earlier communication, relating to the emergency shutdown of both the generating units of our Plant from Feb 4, 2009, we are pleased to inform that after necessary repair and maintenance, both units are now back to normal operation and are running satisfactorily.

While Plant Unit # 2 had resumed operation and started producing electricity from May 3, 2009 midnight, Plant Unit # 1 came back into operation from the evening of June 23, 2009. Currently, both units are running at full capacity and producing electricity up to the deemed generation level.

With the resumption of normal power supply to NEA, the Forced Outage of both units has thus ended. We thank all for bearing with us during the forced outage situation.
